On Friday, 20 November, Vicious Records and Ny Bastion bring together three of Copenhagen’s most exciting underground acts for a night of live music: MY BELOVED, Bug Chaser and Josephine. All three are right in the middle of a busy release period, with new records out or just around the corner.

My Beloved — 30 Years in the Making

My Beloved celebrate 30 years as a band in 2026. On 13 November, they release November Sun, their seventh full-length album. The first single, Last Sun, arrives on 1 November.

After a run of shows in September and October, the band are ready to bring the new material to the stage. Three decades in, My Beloved are still moving forward, and their show at Ny Bastion is a chance to catch them at the start of this next chapter.

Bug Chaser — No Signs of Slowing Down

Bug Chaser have just released The Dealer and the Dentist, the first single from their upcoming second album, My First Crippled Love. The second single, Mom, drops on Friday, 23 October, with the full album following on 13 November.

They’ve spent much of 2026 playing live and building serious momentum. Known for their raw energy and uncompromising performances, Bug Chaser are a band best experienced up close — and they’re bringing the new material with them.

Josephine — The Final Chapter

It’s been a productive year for Josephine, with the EP Unexplained released in April and Undephined following in August. On 20 November, the third and final EP in the series, Unapologetic, arrives.

The release lands on the very same night Josephine take the stage at Ny Bastion. Blending heavy low-end, intricate rhythms and dark, atmospheric electronics, Josephine bring a year-long musical journey to its next chapter.

Recorded live at Vicious Studio in Copenhagen over just two days, November Sun lives in the space between instinct and structure. Some of the music grew out of opportunity and reaction in the moment; other parts were carefully shaped and arranged.

Josephine – UNDEPHINED

Undephined is the second chapter in a three-part series of EPs, each revealing another part of Josephine’s evolving sound and ultimately leading to the full-length album in November.

Where Unexplained introduced Josephine´s sound and musical universe, Undephined moves deeper into it. Three new tracks where electronic production takes centre stage, shaped by atmospheric textures, heavy low-end, fractured rhythms and space.

Out Thursday, August 20 on all major streaming platforms.

The compilation presents ten original works by Danish Eurorack artists, all created under the same set of constraints: one oscillator, one take, and no DAW post-processing.

By limiting each artist to a single sound source, the project focuses attention on modulation, routing, timing, performance, and the creative possibilities that emerge from working within defined boundaries. The resulting collection demonstrates a remarkable diversity of approaches, revealing ten distinct artistic voices from a shared point of departure.

Én stemme follows the label’s 2025 field-recording compilation Dansk Lyd 1 and continues Vicious Records’ interest in documenting contemporary Danish sound practices through curated thematic releases.

We are also pleased that the release has been featured by the Japanese modular synthesizer publication Patching for Anything, whose coverage highlights the project’s concept and its exploration of creativity through limitation.

Copenhagen experimental artist Nikoline announces 
Burnt Out Organic Matter
Out on Bandcamp, Friday 5th of June.

We are thrilled to announce a collaborative release with the Copenhagen label, Virkelighedsfjern.

A raw, improvised journey through change, identity, grief, and ecstatic release. Recorded in the now-demolished Siggurds Gade buildings in Nørrebro, the album blends distorted industrial textures, relentless drum machines, and emotional intensity into a chaotic yet reflective listen.

Created during a turbulent period in 2025, the record explores struggles with IT, gender identity, and mental health alongside moments of humor and joy. Closing track το τραγωγία της γυνάκης που κλαίει (“The Song of the Weeping Woman”), made with Aspasia Balta, samples Greek dirges to mourn what’s been lost while embracing new beginnings.

Nikoline has been an active force in the Danish underground for over a decade through projects including Naturale, GAIA, Måneskjold and Lucid Grave, while also running Virkelighedsfjern since 2016.

Vicious Records returns with a new focused exploration of sound.

Following last year’s Field Recording compilation, Dansk Lyd 1, Vicious now turns its attention toward the Danish Eurorack scene and the modular systems shaping its sonic identity.

The result is Én stemme, a conceptual compilation built around a strict and deliberate constraint:
one oscillator, one take, one voice.

By reducing the starting point to a single sound source, the project opens up a space where modulation, structure, and performance become the defining forces. The aim is not limitation for its own sake, but clarity. A shared framework through which individual approaches can emerge in radically different directions.

Én stemme documents a cross-section of Danish modular practice at a specific moment in time, where hardware, performance, and chance intersect in real time..
