Copenhagen instrumental ensemble MY BELOVED release their new single Last Sun today, 1 November 2026. The track is the first single from their forthcoming seventh full-length album, November Sun, due for release on 13 November 2026 via Vicious Records.
Blending cinematic atmosphere with guitar-driven post-rock, Last Sun unfolds in a patient, reflective soundscape where texture and mood take centre stage. As the closing track on the full-length album, it offers a final passage through the sonic world of November Sun.
The single marks another milestone in the band’s 30th anniversary year. Formed in Copenhagen in 1996, MY BELOVED have spent three decades exploring the darker, more atmospheric edges of instrumental music, developing a distinctive sound spanning post-rock, experimental rock and cinematic soundscapes — a musical language they describe as Instrumental Music Noir.
Built around guitars, bass, drums, piano and synthesizers, their music balances brooding textures and controlled tension with expansive crescendos, unexpected turns and moments of fragile beauty.
Across six previous full-length albums, MY BELOVED have continually evolved while maintaining their uncompromising approach to sound and atmosphere. Recorded live at Vicious Studio in Copenhagen in just two days, November Sun captures the immediacy, raw edges and organic interplay at the heart of the band’s music.
